About me
Don McGady is the Program Manager for Enterprise Project at Argonne National Laboratory. This team manages projects in 4 strategic portfolios- Operational Excellence, Talent, Enterprise Systems Advancement, and Laboratory Research Initiatives.
Don has been with Argonne since 2020 and has led efforts to mature the use of project management principles in a variety of settings within the Argonne enterprise. Prior to 2020, he served Argonne in an advisory consulting capacity, advising on the development of a variety of organizational assets currently in use at the Lab.
Don has more than 28 years of project management experience across capital, organizational research, and transportation program projects and is a Certified Project Management Professional. Prior to his engagement at Argonne, Don was the Operations and Controls manager supporting the O’Hare Modernization Program in Chicago, Illinois., where he managed teams of project professionals working with multiple government and executive partners.
Don McGady has a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Don is also a Project Management Professional certified by the Project Management Institute.
