About me
Josh Hickman began his career at Altec in 2012 as an Application Engineer after graduating from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. In late 2014 he transitioned into a Product Development Engineering role where he ran multiple projects of various sizes. The last of which, he was the technical design lead on the project to develop Altec’s DT85. In January of 2021 Josh moved again; this time into the Control Systems group as a Supervisor. He oversees development on the Derricks, Cranes, and Specialty products lines in this role. Josh lives in the Roanoke area with his wife Traci and his three kids; Easton, Eli, and Everly. When not working Josh enjoys being outside (hunting, fishing, sports) and being an active member of his church.
