As Founder and President of DCC Marketing, a full-service marketing, communications, and public relations agency with a national reach, Kara has led transformational energy and sustainability campaigns that bridge government, industry, and workforce partnerships. Under her leadership, DCC Marketing has become a premier agency for clean energy branding, strategic communications, and public-private partnerships, executing high-profile PR, media, and policy advocacy efforts across multiple states.
In addition to her leadership at DCC Marketing, Kara in an owner and serves as Sr. Vice President of TCCI Manufacturing, a global leader in electric vehicle (EV) compressor technology and zero-emission mobility solutions. She has been instrumental in securing funding, shaping policy, and leading industry collaborations that support the electrification of commercial and passenger transportation. She played a key role in securing Illinois’ first Reimagine Electric Vehicle (REV) Incentive Program award and a $21.3 million Rebuild Illinois grant, making TCCI the first EV compressor production facility in the U.S.
